Role Overview: As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to design, lead, and execute the human resource strategy across all business units. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee performance, and culture building. Key Responsibilities: 1.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Handle end-to-end recruitment – from job posting and shortlisting to interviews and offer roll-outs. Coordinate with department heads to understand and forecast manpower requirements across all verticals. Develop a structured onboarding and orientation to ensure seamless integration of new hires. Maintain a proactive talent pipeline for recurring or high-attrition roles. 2.HR Operations & Documentation Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation for joining, exits, contracts, transfers, etc. Implement and maintain HRMS tools for employee data, attendance, and leave management. 3.Payroll Support & Statutory Compliance Administer payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, deductions, and incentives and ensure timely salary processing in coordination with accounts. Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and all applicable labour laws Manage contract employees’ compliance in coordination with vendors/contractors. 4.Employee Performance & Engagement Drive performance management cycles – goal setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisals. Monitor employee KPIs with functional heads and support in improvement initiatives. Design retention strategies to reduce attrition in critical operational roles. 5.HR Strategy & Streamlining Identify gaps in HR processes across business units and implement SOPs for efficiency. Suggest tools or systems for automation, policy updates, and communication improvement. Provide regular HR dashboards and MIS reports to the senior management Support the leadership team in organizational structuring and succession planning Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multi-unit or field-intensive industries (retail, construction, real estate, or similar) Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, payroll compliance, and statutory frameworks Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially across diverse workforce levels Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead HR functions independently Proficient in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and familiar with HRMS/payroll platforms Show more Show less
