Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR/Recruiter to lead our recruitment and HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/software hiring, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- MBA in HR.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT/software recruitment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentable and capable of leading HR initiatives.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Innovative, with the ability to develop new strategies and ideas. - Prior experience in scaling teams for start-ups is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, filtering, interviewing, negotiations, and finalizing candidates.
- Conduct background verifications and extend final offers.
- Handle time-sensitive hiring priorities effectively.
- Build and improve recruitment processes to attract top talent.
- Leverage job boards, social media, and professional networks to source candidates.
Employee Engagement and Development:
- Enhance onboarding and induction processes to ensure seamless integration for new hires.
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
- Develop and implement HR policies to foster a conflict-free and efficient workplace.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, including team-building activities and new perks/benefits programs.
Performance Management:
- Create processes to measure individual and team performance effectively.
- Assist in developing strategies for talent retention and employee growth.
HR Operations:
- Maintain accurate employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Promote HR programs and ensure compliance with organizational goals. - Manage high-volume recruitment functions, adapting to evolving priorities. - Report and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in recruitment tools, job boards, and business software (e.g., Microsoft Office). - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations and changing priorities.
- Prior experience in employee performance management and policy development.
- Strong management and reporting skills.
