Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Lead and support the design of electrical systems including medium and low-voltage substations, power distribution, lighting, and grounding.
- Develop detailed design drawings and construction documents using Revit in accordance with project standards.
- Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using tools like SKM or ETAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and construction support activities such as RFI responses and submittal reviews.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications
What will you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for large, complex industrial or manufacturing projects.
- Proficiency in Revit for electrical design is required.
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft office suite.
- Strong understanding of U.S. electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Should be flexible to work in the evening hours to maintain communication with the USA stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Automative, Battery Manufacturing, FMCG, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with data center design is a plus.
- Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment.
