Cloud Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Implement robust security practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
• Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization concepts
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer, etc.)
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in the cloud
