About The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Product Design Lead (UI/UX) who is deeply passionate about human-centered design and can take charge of end-to-end design execution. Youll lead a team of talented designers while collaborating with product managers, researchers, writers, and engineers to create high-impact digital experiences for web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the product design vision, strategy, and execution across digital platforms (Web, Mobile, eCommerce).
- Lead the entire UI/UX design process - from concept to wireframe to prototype to pixel-perfect UI.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables; uphold high visual and usability standards.
- Conduct design reviews, mentor junior designers, and foster a strong design culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, developers, UX writers, and researchers to ship best-in-class user experiences.
- Champion clean UX strategy, user flows, and intuitive navigation.
- Conduct and interpret user research, usability testing, and data-driven design iterations.
- Develop IA (Information Architecture), onboarding flows, interaction design, and micro-interactions.
- Balance brand thinking, business needs, and user empathy in every design decision.
- Contribute to design system evolution and documentation.
Key Skills & Technical Expertise
Design Tools & Prototyping :
- Figma (Auto Layout, Variants, Interactive Components)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
- Sketch, InVision, Zeplin
- Protopie, Framer, Principle or similar for high-fidelity prototyping
Design Systems & Collaboration
- Building and maintaining scalable design systems
- Working knowledge of component-based design
- Version control and handoff tools : Abstract, Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode
User Research & Testing
- Conducting user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations
- Tools : Lookback, Maze, Hotjar, Optimal Workshop, UsabilityHub
- Familiarity with A/B testing and interpreting product analytics (via Mixpanel, GA4, or Amplitude)
UX Strategy & Documentation
- Information Architecture, User Flows, Journey Mapping
- Wireframing : Balsamiq, Whimsical, FigJam
- UX Writing and Microcopy principles
Technical Collaboration
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML5, CSS3, JS basics)
- Experience collaborating with developers using Git, Jira, Confluence, Trello
- Ability to inspect and verify UI implementation using browser dev tools
- Awareness of Web & Mobile Performance principles
Who You Are
- A creative thinker with a flair for clean, functional, and intuitive design.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design, including leadership roles.
- Strong command of tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Experience with building scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Adept at wireframing, prototyping, and presenting to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UX writing, accessibility principles, and mobile-first design.
- Passionate about solving real-world problems through human-centered design.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and lead a team by example.
