About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and results-driven Azure ETL Developer with 3–8 years of experience, skilled in building scalable data pipelines and delivering actionable insights through Power BI. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, SQL, and Power BI, and a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory and related services.
• Work with Azure Data Lake (Gen2), Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics to manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build and optimize data models and DAX measures in Power BI.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support data availability and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity through validation and monitoring techniques.
• Apply best practices in performance tuning, error handling, and logging for ETL processes.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and production deployments.
• Stay current with Azure service updates and contribute to architecture improvements.

Required Skills:

• PowerShell, Azure CLI, NSGs, VPNs, AWS
• Terraform, ARM templates, Azure services, VNETs, Python
• Azure Admin skills like PAas, IAAS, and operations skills set.
• 3–8 years of professional experience in ETL/Data Engineering using Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

o Azure Data Factory (ADF)

o Azure Data Lake

o Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics

o T-SQL / Stored Procedures

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Power BI report development.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schema modeling.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Experience in working with large data sets, troubleshooting, and data optimization.
• Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD practices is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
