Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise-level routing and switching. The candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

Handle escalation of complex Layer 2/3 network issues and provide end-to-end resolution.
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise routing and switching networks (including LAN, WAN, and MAN).
Lead network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and changes with minimal business impact.
Implement and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and technologies (VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP).
Perform packet-level analysis and advanced diagnostics using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.
Manage and configure routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Perform regular patching, upgrades, and backup of network configurations.
Ensure network security compliance and participate in audits and incident response.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 2+ years in L3 support.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and multicast.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Juniper JUNOS, or equivalent.
Strong command of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow, etc.).
CCNP (Routing and Switching) or equivalent certification is mandatory; CCIE (preferred or in progress).
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience in working within ITIL environments is a plus.

Nice To Have

Exposure to IPSec, MPLS, QoS, and network automation (Python, Ansible).
Knowledge of firewalls.
Experience with hybrid cloud networking (GCP).
Participation in on-call support rotation or after-hours maintenance windows.
