32607BR Bangalore - Campus Job Description Job Description: SharePoint Specialist (SharePoint 2016 & O365 Migration) Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 5-7 years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Specialist with strong expertise in SharePoint 2016 (on-premises) and SharePoint Online (Office 365). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining SharePoint environments, designing and customizing forms and workflows using Nintex, and leading or supporting migration projects from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Key Responsibilities Provide support and administration for SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online (O365) environments. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom forms and workflows using Nintex in SharePoint 2016. Design and implement solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and other O365 tools as applicable. Assist in planning, executing, and supporting migrations from SharePoint 2016 (on-prem) to SharePoint Online, including content restructuring and permissions management. Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into SharePoint solutions. Ensure SharePoint environments are secure, optimized, and aligned with best practices and organizational policies. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary patches or upgrades. Provide user training and documentation where required. Requirements Proven experience with SharePoint 2016 (on-prem) support and development. Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online (O365), including modern site architecture and features. Proficiency in Nintex Forms and Workflows for SharePoint 2016. Experience in migrating SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online using tools like ShareGate, Metalogix, or Microsoft migration tools. Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus. Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, content types, site collections, and lists/libraries. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or Microsoft 365 technologies.
