Senior Manager - IT

About The Role: We are seeking a Senior IT Manager who brings both strategic foresight and hands-on operational excellence. Responsibilities IT Infrastructure Management Lead day-to-day operations, management, and optimization of our IT systems, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure. Administer and enhance our identity and access management architecture using SSO, Directory, LDAP etc. Endpoint and Security Operations Manage the deployment and performance of EDR/XDR to ensure real-time threat prevention and monitoring. Automation and Efficiency Identify repetitive workflows across IT operations and develop automation scripts and integrations using APIs and scripting tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.). Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, response times, and operational consistency. Support and Service Management Oversee the IT ticketing system, optimizing support SLAs, workflows, and asset management. Provide escalation-level technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with Security, Engineering, and HR to enforce and audit access controls, endpoint compliance, and enterprise policies. Draft and maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and user guides. Email, Collaboration, and DLP Tools Manage and administer Google Workspace, including policy enforcement, group management, and email security. Operate and tune for robust enterprise MFA coverage. Configure and monitor data loss prevention tools, secure web access, and zero-trust network access. Learning and Strategic Thinking Stay updated with IT trends, emerging tools, and enterprise best practices. Lead IT projects that support business growth, user productivity, and security posture. Desired Candidate Profile 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration, engineering, or operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/managerial role. Strong scripting/automation capabilities using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of drafting policies, documentation, and executive-level reports. Deep understanding of enterprise IT best practices, zero trust architecture, and SaaS administration. Desired Traits Passionate about improving processes and creating scalable, secure systems.
