Role Summary

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Leadership

  • Lead local sales initiatives within the assigned state or city.
  • Develop and manage a growing pipeline of B2B and B2G clients.
  • Mentor junior sales staff and support regional sales strategy.

2. Target Achievement

  • Own and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor performance KPIs, conversion ratios, and revenue forecasts.

3. Client Acquisition

  • Conduct 3–5 client meetings daily through field visits, referrals, and digital outreach.
  • Target SMEs, startups, educational institutions, healthcare providers, hospitality groups, and government departments.

4. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop localized sales plans based on market trends and business needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.

5. Proposal & Closure

  • Prepare tailored presentations and proposals aligned with the division’s service offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals profitably and efficiently.

6. Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for state clients.
  • Ensure high client retention by providing post-sales support and identifying upselling opportunities.

7. Reporting & CRM

  • Maintain accurate client data and pipeline updates in CRM tools.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to regional leadership.

8. Payment Follow-Up

  • Work with the finance team to ensure smooth invoicing and timely collections.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Bachelor's in Business, IT, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

    2–5 years in IT, SaaS, or software solution sales.
  • Preferred:

    Experience working in B2B/B2G enterprise sales or sector-specific roles (education, health, hospitality, etc.).
