EcoRatings is a company founded by experienced entrepreneurs focused on helping companies, Web3 Infrastructure, Governments, and Quasi-Government agencies achieve their sustainability goals. Utilizing enterprise-grade Generative AI and Blockchain technologies, EcoRatings provides solutions for data organization, carbon measurement, reporting, and validation (MRV) tasks. Their flagship product, sustaining.ai, is a pre-trained, fine-tuned model responding to sustainability-related queries with AI Agents autonomously executing MRV tasks. EcoRatings also leverages the Solana blockchain for Carbon Credits and tokenization of Real World Assets (RWA).

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager - ESG Sales based in Noida. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and targeting prospective clients, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the ESG sector. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales tactics with overall company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in ESG, Sustainability, or related fields
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI and Blockchain technologies
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Sound knowledge of carbon measurement, reporting, and validation (MRV) practices
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Marketing, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools

Sales Leadership & Execution

  • Take full ownership of the inside sales cycle from lead engagement to deal closure.
  • Act as the

    first point of contact

    for potential clients — handling meetings, demos, and product walk-throughs (with or without a technical team member).
  • Maintain active coordination with technical pre-sales and product teams for solutioning.

Proposal Development & Customization

  • Draft customized

    sales proposals, pitch decks

    , and pricing documentation.
  • Understand client ESG and compliance needs to map our AI-powered solutions accordingly.
  • Create persuasive, solution-oriented documents tailored to industry-specific use cases.

Closing & Revenue Ownership

  • Own

    monthly and quarterly targets

    for closures and revenue.
  • Maintain a high conversion rate from opportunities to signed deals.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and deal structures while aligning with business goals.

CRM, Pipeline & Reporting

  • Use CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track opportunities, interactions, and performance.
  • Generate sales forecasts and pipeline status reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing for follow-ups on leads generated via campaigns.

Client Engagement & Travel

  • Represent the company in virtual and in-person meetings, industry events, and client visits.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (when required) for key account meetings or demos.



Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in

    B2B software sales

    , ideally in SaaS, AI, or ESG-related sectors.
  • Strong experience in proposal writing, pitching, and closing enterprise deals.
  • Knowledge of AI concepts (LLM, SLM, RAG) and ESG frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with sales tools: CRM systems, Google Workspace/MS Office, and virtual meeting tools.
