Job Description


Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and optimize cryogenic rocket engines with a focus on performance,reliability, and reusability. Collaborate on the development of core engine components, including injectors, combustion chambers, and nozzles.
  • Analysis and Simulation: Conduct thermodynamic, structural, and fluid dynamic analyses of propulsion systems. Use simulation tools to evaluate engine performance and ensure compliance with mission requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing protocols for cryogenic propulsion systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Analyze test data to validate designs and drive iterative improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, avionics, and integration teams to ensure seamless development and deployment of propulsion systems. Provide inputs on materials, fabrication methods, and component assembly processes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of design iterations, analyses, and test results. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in propulsion system design and testing, with an emphasis on cryogenic engines.


Technical Skills:

 Proficiency in engineering tools such as ANSYS, CFD software, and SolidWorks.

 Foundational understanding of turbomachinery and its application in propulsion

systems.

 Familiarity with programming languages like Python or MATLAB for data analysis.

 Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for cryogenic applications.


Key Competencies:

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

 Experience with reusable rocket engines.

 Familiarity with propellants like LOX, LH2, or LCH4.

 Hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting propulsion systems.
