Role Responsibilities Provide day-to-day production support for various applications and systems. Monitor and address production issues across platforms, ensuring uptime and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with development teams to deploy application updates and enhancements. Perform root cause analysis on incidents and implement corrective actions. Maintain thorough documentation of support processes, incidents, and resolutions. Assist in the management of production incidents, ensuring they are logged and escalated as necessary. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production issues. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support processes. Conduct regular system monitoring to proactively identify potential issues. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to share best practices with team members. Work closely with the QA team to ensure high-quality releases in production. Utilize scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks for efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service to end-users while resolving issues. Engage in training programs to enhance technical support skills and knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in a production support role or related IT position. Strong understanding of databases, application servers, and networking. Familiarity with incident management tools and ITIL best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or JavaScript. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in documentation and reporting for incident tracking. Experience with system monitoring tools and performance metrics. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. Prior experience in a similar industry or domain is an advantage.
