We are looking for a Senior Manager, Engineering to join our growing Engineering team in Bangalore, reporting to the director of Software Engineering. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and work closely with the rest of the Engineering organization to build the Infoblox product suites. You will simultaneously lead various ongoing efforts, including feature development, defect analysis and resolution, and software release management, aligning engineering execution with strategic business goals. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring secure and scalable software delivery, and fostering a high-performance culture. What you’ll do: Lead and manage multiple software development and QA engineers across geographies Translate company strategy into actionable goals and ensure alignment across engineering teams Drive execution of software projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmaps and feature sets Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing and set clear goals, evaluate performance, and align rewards with outcomes Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent while supporting career growth Ensure compliance with secure software development practices and industry standards Monitor project progress, manage risks, and optimize resource utilization Interlock with support and operations teams to enhance customer experience Manage customer escalations and track customer SLAs closely What you’ll bring: 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role Proven experience managing large, distributed engineering teams Solid technical background with proficiency in modern development tools and methodologies Experience with microservices architecture, container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP Good understanding of software scalability, security, and performance optimization Experience with programming languages such as Go, C++, or Java Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and general networking concepts is a strong plus Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred Experience working on an Agile or Scaled Agile What success looks like: After six months, you will… Lead multiple high-impact software initiatives aligned with business goals Build strong interlocks with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Establish a high-performing, collaborative team culture After About a Year, You Will… Own and drive a significant portion of the Infoblox Product Suite Scale and mentor a large, distributed engineering team Deliver measurable improvements in software quality, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction We’ve got you covered: Our holistic benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness—as well as a great work environment, employee programs, and company culture.
