Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and implement high-quality Java applications. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. ● Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. ● Spring Boot and Microservices: Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building microservices. ● Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient microservices architecture. ● Implement best practices for microservices communication, fault tolerance, and security. ● Restful APIs: Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems. ● Ensure API performance, scalability, and security. ● Database Integration: Proficient in integrating Java applications with various databases, including but not limited to MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. ● Unit Testing: Implement and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure the robustness, including edge cases and usability, of the code. ● Utilize testing frameworks such as JUnit for effective unit testing. ● Code Quality and Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices. ● Identify and rectify code issues, bugs, and bottlenecks. ● Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. ● Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. ● Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. ● Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner. ● Perform root cause analysis for complex issues. ● Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. What are we looking for? ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development and Linux ● Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture. ● Expertise in designing and developing Restful APIs. ● Experience with unit testing frameworks, preferably JUnit. ● Solid understanding of database integration and SQL. ● Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Strong communication and collaboration skills. ● Experience with CI/CD tools and practices is a plus.
