ITW Global Automotive in India has 2 manufacturing facilities in Pune & Chennai and caters to majority of the Auto OEM’s both national and multinational and their tier suppliers.

The opportunity:

The In-Process Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will play a key role in ensuring product quality during production. Their responsibilities will include monitoring and evaluating manufacturing processes, performing routine inspections and tests, identifying defects or deviations from specifications, and working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions, will also help maintain compliance with ISO and industry standards, document quality metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment.

What your role would be:

• Plastic Injection Moulding - In process Engineer
• First part approval & patrol - In process inspection as per 2 stage approval process
• Control tool , Gauge Inspection as per control plan.
• Preparation and maintenance of all in process quality records
• Maintaining IATF 16949 & CSR requirements in the shop floor.
• Continual improvement projects ( Poka yoke implementation, Kaizen activities in shop floor )
• Coordinating with NPD for new part development / ECN,PCN ,4M changes monitoring execution of PPAP documents
• Trial involvement & feedback communication
• Quality alert raising and closing, ICA monitoring & communication
• IHR analysis & action plan preparation & action effectiveness monitoring
• Maintaining deviation and concession form.
• Ensuring identification & traceability of parts in shop floor.
• Ensuring right packaging and labelling of parts.
• Communicating any process changes.
• Coordinating with prod dept for problem solving and taking corrective actions.
• Conducting MSA, SPC studies as per plan
• Conducting Process & Product audits as per plan
• Monitoring Final inspection , PDI activities as per requirement
• SAP clearance

What your educational qualification & experience will be:

• Diploma/Degree BE/B.Tech in Plastic Technology
• Should have similar experience of 4 to 6 years
