Job Summary
As an Application Developer II within Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software applications that support our client's business objectives. You will be involved in various stages of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. This position requires collaboration with team members and cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and improve system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reliable, maintainable, and efficient code based on requirements
- Assist in the analysis of existing systems and processes for optimization and enhancement
- Conduct unit testing and debug applications to ensure code quality and user satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members in code reviews to share knowledge and best practices
- Document development processes and application functionality for future reference
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
Experience:
2 to 4 years of application development experience in a professional setting.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
