Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with compilers (e.g., optimization, parallelization, etc.) or ML (optimization, SDK etc.).
- 3 years of experience in managing a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience optimizing ML models for inference.
- Experience developing developer tools and Software Development Kits (SDKs) in the context of accelerator-based architectures.
- Experience compiling for heterogeneous architectures across Internet Protocol (IPs), including but not limited to Central Processing Unit (CPU), Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Neural Processing Unit (NPUs).

Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve developer tools quality and performance on optimization decisions, correctness and performance as part of the EdgeTPU developer experience team.
- Design end-to-end customer user journeys to execute Machine Learning (ML) workloads on the EdgeTPU in a seamless manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient workflows that deliver an excellent user experience.
- Partner with ML model developers, researchers, and EdgeTPU hardware/software teams to accelerate the transition from research ideas to exceptional user experiences on the EdgeTPU.
- Lead a team of engineers.
