Director Global Advertiser & Campaign Optimization Analytics

This role requires a strong focus on defining efficient growth opportunities, critical market and advertiser specific nuances and an ability to lead analytics capacity prioritization and support global top advertiser prioritization. Core to this is stakeholder management, clear communication, and data-drive perspectives. 

Ideal candidates will have analytics or data consulting backgrounds, experience directly working with transaction-based data and familiarity with CLO platforms or bank loyalty ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the analytics lead in strategic merchant / advertiser conversations, providing pre-sales insights, performance forecasts and ROI modelling; in our top markets.
•  Deliver post-campaign analysis and insights that quantify lift, incrementality and customer behavior change. Ensure clarity and integrity in data interpretation presented to merchants and internal stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Business Development, Customer Success, Product and broader analytics teams to refine and evolve AmEx Offers & Digital Media value proposition.
• Deliver insights more broadly Influence go-to-market strategies by identifying vertical-specific trends and merchant priorities.
• Act as a key partner to the broader Analytics, Product, Commercial & Strategy teams, ensuring measurement frameworks are embedded across campaign planning and performance workflows.
•  Lead and mentor a 12+ team of India-based analytics while fostering a strong technical culture of rigor, transparency and intellectual curiosity.
  

• 8+ years in media analytics, reporting, or performance measurement - ideally in ad tech, martech, or digital media.
• Strong solid understanding of digital media KPIs, CLO campaign dynamics, and marketing measurement techniques.
• Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python; experience with BI Tools (e.g. Tableau & Power BI)
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills – comfortable presenting to C-level merchant/advertiser clients
• Strong foundation In statistical modelling, experimentation, and causal inference. 
• Strong leadership skills and experience leading a high-output analytics or insights team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Self-starter, ability to drive insights from the data, provide actionable steps and drive results
