We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with 4-7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain data models that drive business insights and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modelling tools & techniques, SQL, database design, and data warehousing concepts. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, performance optimisation, and seamless integration into business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs. - Develop and optimize database structures with a focus on performance and scalability. - Implement data modelling best practices, including normalization and indexing. - Work closely with database administrators, developers, and business analysts. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards. - Provide insights into ETL processes and data warehousing strategies. - Support SQL query development, optimization, and troubleshooting. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in data modelling for relational and non-relational databases. - Hands-on expertise in SQL, database design, and optimisation techniques. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies. - Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake). - Certification in data modelling, database management, or cloud platforms.
