Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Data Analyst Fresher to join our data team. This is a hands-on technical role. Experience with Shell Script and SQL (T-SQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle SQL) is essential. The data analyst will follow an agile iterative development methodology with a focus on innovation, data quality, user value, and robust data analysis.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Build and test metrics using SQL data-stores.
Build, test and deploy reports and interactive dashboard, leveraging the same metrics.
Focus on visualization for effective report generation, revealing a clear data story.
Process, cleanse, and verify data-integrity for analysis.
Build analysis reports for various tests and production runs on the web crawler
software.
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong T-SQL OR PostgreSQL OR Oracle SQL Skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Skills especially Word and Excel.
Strong knowledge of Object-oriented Programming (OOPS).
Skilled at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to write comprehensive reports.
Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
Ability to deal with high-volume data under tight deadlines.
Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure.
Ability to work as a strong team player.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of data processing, database programming and data analytics.
Exceptional problem solving and data analysis skills.
A high degree of reliability, flexibility, and adaptability while working under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
A Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a master’s degree in Computer Applications

REPORTING: This position will report to Manager Data Operations

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

LOCATION: In-Office – Jaipur, India

SHIFT TIMINGS: 10 am to 7pm IST
