The main role of the Functional Consultant is to collaborate with internal consultants, assist Kanoo Elite’s customers in designing, building and maintaining their Dynamics 365 F&O environments and participate in teamwork.

Perform many of the functional aspect on the project starting from preparing Pre Sales Demo, Requirement Gathering, preparing Functional Specification for addressing the GAPs identified, lead discussions and brainstorming sessions to align customers to reduce customization as much as possible, coordinate with horizontal team in place across the organization. You will work with various Microsoft Dynamics versions for various customers with different verticals. You need to be hands on (ie self contributor).  

The Functional Consultant must be experienced in Dynamics 365 Finance and operations to provide solutions and manage end to end responsibility of multiple projects. (S)he must possess deep knowledge in the areas of supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations and finance.

(S)he must be effective in fostering executive level relationships and become their trusted advisor with first point of escalation for any solution issues in the project and should be able to drive key Stakeholders and business users, and supporting consultants. Other responsibilities include presales discoveries, analyzes an organization’s business process and functional needs and demonstrate how Microsoft Dynamics can address the customer’s requirements and address their business needs.

Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Functional Consultant should:

•      Prepare Environments setup based on requirements

•      Provide estimations for proposed solutions and deliver customization by respecting the committed/estimated efforts.

•      Lead presentations, user training, User Acceptance, Go Live setup and release management

•      Assists in Troubleshooting and resolving issues.

•      Unit testing and QC to ensure quality.

•      Lead Data Migration and data reconciliation.

•      Provide accurate estimation and timelines of tasks.

•      Prioritize work and spend time on the most important, business identified concerns.

•      Work independently and/or with team members to resolve escalated support tickets.

•      Train and support junior developers.

•      Provide functional knowledge to technical developers

•      Collaborate on the creation of application requirements and fit/gap analysis.

•      Develop ‘proof of concept’ solutions where required.

•      Expertise on HR & Payroll module in F&O 

•      Minimum of 3-5 HR&Payroll Support project

•      Provide guidance to implementation team on various strategic areas such as Environment strategy, Integration strategy, Data Migration strategy, Security Strategy.

•      Advantage – Finance module expertise

•      Work hand in hand with Project managers, program managers and project teams to ensure successful implementations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications Or CA, OR M.COM is preferable.

Essential Skills/Abilities

•      Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.

•      Previous track record delivering the full project life cycle

•      Experience Power BI

•      Excellent documentation skills and presentation

•      Possess good oral and written communication skills, in English.

•      You are positive about travelling to clients as and when requires.
