R ESPONSIBILITIES Job responsibilities R esearch and Communication P roof-reading, editing research reports, communication materials S upport in ongoing and new research and data analysis on migration trends, remittances, irregular migration and diaspora engagement. C ompile case studies or success stories based on research findings to be integrated into IOM India’s communication materials and reports. P repare reports on events, campaigns, workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring compliance with IOM’s reporting standards. S upport the development and execution of awareness campaign. P repare detailed reports on events, campaigns, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring compliance with IOM’s reporting standards. C ontribute to IOM India’s knowledge products, such as case studies or policy briefs, by compiling data and drafting content on migration trends and best practices. C oordination and administration S upport in coordination with research agencies, service providers to support migration-related initiatives, including dissemination workshops and Migration Resource Center activities. S upport in events (virtual or in-person), such as roundtables or training sessions, managing invitations, registrations, and logistics. S upport coordination efforts with partners (e.g., UN agencies, NGOs) by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and documenting outcomes to strengthen IOM India’s network. Q UALIFICATIONS Qualifications and Experience E ducation: M aster’s degree in public policy, Development Studies, Communications or a related field. E xperience: M inimum 2-3 years of experience in communications, research, project coordination, preferably with international organizations (e.g., IOM, UN agencies). D esired Experience P roven track record in undertaking research. F amiliarity with the management of social media campaigns and digital content creation, with experience in analytical tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite etc. will be an advantage. E xperience in event planning and stakeholder coordination, particularly in migration or development contexts. S kills: F luent in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, or Marathi); fluency in additional Indian and foreign languages would be an asset. W orking knowledge and experience in MS Office and F amiliarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) will be an advantage. S trong organizational, analytical, and report-writing skills. O ther: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to diverse cultural and operational contexts.
