Job Description

You bring over 10 years of hands-on experience in functional testing, automation tools (e.g., UFT, Selenium, Playwright), test data management, and continuous testing. You have a proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. You are skilled in developing or enhancing automation frameworks. Exposure or Work Experience in Tosca will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar technologies. Oversee the execution and analysis of automated test results to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, QA, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define test strategies, and ensure alignment with project goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 5+ QA engineers, guiding them in best practices for automation, testing, and quality assurance. Drive the adoption of modern testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to continuously enhance the testing process and improve efficiency. Develop and implement strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Manage test data creation, maintenance, and optimization to support automated and manual testing efforts. Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance overall product quality. Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in automation and testing, and evaluate their applicability to ongoing projects. Required Skills Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing, including functional testing, test case creation, and execution. 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, with expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar. Proven experience leading and managing a team of 5+ QA engineers, including task delegation, performance management, and mentorship. Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with the Robot Framework using Python. Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub. Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms for continuous integration and deployment. Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving shared goals. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines. Additional Skills: In-depth knowledge of Agile/Kanban methodologies and their application in testing processes. Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and provide actionable solutions.
