Job Description: Production Support Lead Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Support Lead with 8+ years of experience to take ownership of the operational stability and performance of critical production environments. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Linux systems, deployment processes, and tools such as Putty, Swagger, and SQL Developer. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading the support team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless production operations. Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, and industry-standard practices such as ITIL is essential. Key Responsibilities: Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Linux-based production systems. Establish and manage robust monitoring frameworks to proactively detect and address issues. Lead and mentor the production support team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development and infrastructure, to resolve issues efficiently. Oversee deployment processes, including managing JAR file deployments in production and pre-production environments. Define and enforce best practices for deployment and change management. Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and ensure smooth production releases. Use SQL Developer to analyze and optimize database queries, ensuring performance and data integrity. Perform API testing and validation using Swagger and address API-related production issues. Establish and document operational procedures and incident management workflows using Confluence. Leverage Jira to manage incidents, track issues, and drive continuous process improvements. Lead the resolution of production incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to align production support priorities with organizational goals. Provide regular updates and performance metrics to leadership teams. Required Skills: Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and tools like Putty. Strong expertise in SQL Developer for database analysis and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Swagger for API validation and debugging. In-depth experience with deployment processes, especially involving JAR files. Excellent understanding of documentation and task management tools like Confluence and Jira. Proven ability to lead and mentor production support teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 8 years in production support or a similar role , including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required; advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, Linux) are a plus. Work Schedule: Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
