Role Summary
The AM/SE - Software is responsible for overseeing software development projects like SAP within the organization. This role ensures efficient software development processes while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to project timelines. The AM/SE - Software plays a key role in optimizing development workflows, managing resources, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the software development lifecycle. The role requires minimal travel for business purposes.
Job Responsibilities
Coordination & Process Optimization:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and system enhancements.
Software Implementation & Application (SAP):
- Assist in deploying new software or system upgrades across departments.
- Manage and maintain the overall SAP landscape SAP B1.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of SAP applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Coordinate SAP feature adoption, utilisation of SAP, patches, and enhancement end to end implementations.
- Training the users of the use of the software.
System Integration:
- Assist in integrating new software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Enhance existing systems to improve efficiency and user experience.
Software Maintenance & Support:
- Ensure smooth functioning of software applications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor systems for performance and troubleshoot problems.
Data Security & Compliance:
- Ensure software applications adhere to data security protocols.
- Assist in implementing compliance measures for data protection and regulatory standards.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors for software procurement, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Negotiate service agreements, ensuring vendors meet performance standards and deadlines.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure software solutions align with operational needs.
Technical Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, specifications, and development processes, creating a reliable knowledge base for the team.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, covering progress, risks, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders and management.
MIS Management:
- Develop, maintain, and analyse relevant reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making across the department.
Budget Management:
- Ensure efficient planning, allocation, and utilization of resources within the approved budget while monitoring expenses to achieve financial targets and cost-effectiveness.

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in software development, implementation, or IT support.
- SAP Certification in relevant module(s)
