Urban Planner

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and spatial analysis on issues such as affordable housing, climate change, mobility, economics, health, heritage conservation, and inclusive cities.
Design and implement community engagement tools to gather insights from diverse stakeholder groups.
Contribute to master planning and urban development projects in Ahmedabad and other cities.
Analyse policies, evaluate case studies, and develop strategic recommendations through clear research memos, briefs, drawings, and infographics.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in urban planning, housing, transport, infrastructure, or related fields.
Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related discipline (preferred).
Proficiency in research tools (MS Office, R-Studio), mapping software (GIS), and design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and visualize complex information.
Interest in inclusive city planning, sustainability, and participatory development.
Self-driven, collaborative, and able to work across teams and disciplines.
