The Position Job Description QA Automation Engineer who will innovate healthcare. Exp - 3 to 5 years We are the IT center for Roche - a company in the top 10 biggest R&D spenders worldwide. Roche is looking for a highly talented QA Automation Engineer to help design and build the next generation of our testing automation services in healthcare. As a QA Automation Engineer you will have an opportunity to design and execute solutions where software engineering meets great quality practices and be the part of a collaborative development team (hands-on experience). Must have: Work experience related to software development in enterprise projects/products Strong programming skills in either Java, Python or JS Knowledge regarding testing, test automation processes, and risk based approaches Knowledge supported by great hands on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (example: TOSCA, Webdriver, Playwright); experience with building and maintaining test automation frameworks; experience with ALM class tools; Good knowledge about test automation of REST API and Swagger; ability to understand/define API contracts, and understanding of Consumer Contract concept Great experience in at least one programming language/ scripting language, and another one at the basic level; ability and willingness to perform code review in a known programming language and software technology Excellent ability of test results reporting and presenting them to the team/stakeholders from different levels of the organization and different business units; stakeholders management skills would be an asset Good understanding and experience in implementing test automation in big scale projects Nice to have: Experience with GxP systems; Experience in Cloud/ DevOps would be an advantage Experience in product development with Scrum methodologies in Scaled Agile would be great asset Attention to detail, problem-solving, debugging, optimization and analytical skills, willingness to growth and never-ending learning (both technical and delivery) Good communication skills, team player, work under tight deadlines, good mentoring skills We offer: demanding challenges in delivering reliably and quickly microservices-based solutions for worldwide customers which can improve patients’ lives real-life usage of new technologies, opportunities to research and prototype emerging technologies; dedicated training budgets and many opportunities for personal and professional self-development (training, conferences, hackathons, diversified career paths etc.) attractive benefits & relocation package; flexible working hours hybrid workspace (remote & onsite) Roche is an equal opportunity employer.
