Technical Architect

Role Overview We are looking for a Technical Architect who will be the driving force behind the architectural evolution of our SaaS platform. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll work closely with engineers and product teams to shape the technical direction while mentoring and supporting development teams. Key Responsibilities * Architecture & Design: Define and evolve the architectural vision of our SaaS platform with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security. * Hands-on Contribution: Write clean, scalable, and secure code (primarily in Go and TypeScript/React) as needed to support teams or prove architectural concepts. * Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning. * Cloud Expertise: Lead cloud architecture on AWS, leveraging services like API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, etc. * Security & Compliance: Drive security-first development practices and ensure adherence to industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. * Automation & Tooling: Drive adoption of automation, DevOps practices, and security tooling. * Code & Design Reviews: Conduct regular reviews to ensure high quality, maintainability, and consistency with architectural principles. * Collaboration: Work closely with product management and engineering leadership to align technical direction with business goals. Requirements * 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3-5 years in an architectural or technical leadership role. * Proven experience in building scalable SaaS applications with modern cloud technologies (preferably AWS). * Deep expertise in cloud-native and serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway). * A programming background in Go (Golang) and React/TypeScript is preferred, but not essential. * Excellent understanding of application security, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices. * Practical mindset—able to balance ideal architecture with real-world constraints. * Strong communication skills and a passion for mentorship and team development.
