TCS Hiring for GCP Cloud Engineer_PAN India Experience: 6 to 9 Years Only Job Location: PAN India GCP Cloud Engineer_PAN India Role & Responsibilities: Job Summary: Seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level GCP Cloud Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GCP-based systems for performance and cost-efficiency. Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management tasks. Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build. Ensure compliance with security best practices and company policies. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams for cloud-native application deployment. Support migration of on-premises applications to GCP. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in cloud engineering with at least 2 years focused on GCP. Hands-on experience with GCP services like Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage. Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools. Good understanding of networking, load balancing, VPCs, and IAM in GCP. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, especially GKE). Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices. Preferred Qualifications: GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
