About the Role:

Talent Management Specialist


Key Responsibilities:

🌟 Performance Management System (PMS):

  • Drive the

    end-to-end PMS cycle

    including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, normalization, and performance calibration sessions.
  • Partner with line managers and department heads to

    define KRAs/KPIs

    aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure timely completion of appraisal cycles, and provide support and training to employees and managers on the PMS process.
  • Prepare dashboards, analysis, and reports on performance trends, ratings distribution, and talent movements.

🧩 Talent Review & Succession Planning:

  • Identify critical roles and build succession pipelines for key positions.
  • Coordinate and support annual

    Talent Review processes

    in collaboration with business leaders and HRBPs.
  • Maintain and update talent matrices and 9-box grids for leadership planning.

🧠 Competency Mapping & Career Pathing:

  • Contribute to building and enhancing

    competency frameworks

    across levels and functions.
  • Work with department heads to define and document career paths and progression plans.
  • Conduct competency-based assessments and gap analysis.

🏅 High-Potential (HiPo) & Leadership Development:

  • Identify and implement frameworks for

    HiPo identification

    and development.
  • Plan and execute learning and development interventions for emerging leaders.
  • Collaborate with L&D team to design Individual Development Plans (IDPs).

🤝 Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Partner with HR and business to

    track engagement levels

    , analyze attrition trends, and recommend retention strategies.
  • Run

    pulse surveys

    , stay interviews, and exit interview analytics.
  • Design employee recognition frameworks and cultural reinforcement initiatives.

📊 HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Create dashboards and reports related to performance, talent movement, and retention.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management.


Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    2–6 years in Talent Management, PMS, or Organizational Development roles.
  • Skills:

  • Strong understanding of PMS tools and frameworks.
  • Good facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data interpretation and reporting ability.
  • Exposure to engagement, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HRMS, PMS tools (SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Zoho People, etc.) is a plus.
  • Education:

    Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Location:

    Kolkata (mandatory)
  • Joining:

    Immediate or within 15 days preferred
