Software Engineer Quality Assurance

About this Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-performance features that meet the needs of our users. You will adopt a quality-first mindset, combining both automated and manual testing approaches to enhance software reliability, performance, and user experience.

In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, product manager, and designer in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What will you do

• Collaborate with the product manager, UX designer and engineers to understand project requirements for effective and efficient testing.
• Create and maintain detailed test artifacts (test documentation, test environments, and test data).
• Automation mindset (eliminate repetitive manual work).
• Accountable for efficiency and effectiveness of team’s quality effort.
• Use of automation first regression testing approach followed by manual exploratory tests as and where needed.
• Promote a shift-left approach by imparting a strong quality mindset and best practices within the team.

Our Tech Stack

• Testing: Selenium 4 (BDD), ReadyAPI, K6, LambdaTest.
• Test Case Management – TestLink
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Platforms: Azure.
• AI tools: GitHub co-pilot, ChatGPT enterprise.
• Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS.
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.

Who We're Looking For:

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer.
• Proficiency in test automation tools.
• Experience in API automation with Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Test link.
• Hands-on contribution to automation of testing activities besides testing. (Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Load and Database testing)
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
