Shift Engineer TA To ED

Job Title: Business Planning & Operations Analyst Reporting To: Executive Director / Asset Head Job Purpose: The role is responsible for facilitating business planning, monitoring project progress, preparing reports and presentations, and providing operational support to the Executive Director. This includes tracking key business metrics, project milestones, production productivity, and promoting safety culture within the asset. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:1. Annual Business Plan & Project Monitoring Collaborate with department heads to facilitate the development of the Annual Business Plan (ABP) at the asset level. Monitor and track the execution of projects in line with the ABP, ensuring alignment with business goals. Identify potential risks, delays, and proactively escalate critical issues for timely resolution. 2. Reporting & Presentation Management Prepare comprehensive asset-level reports for the Executive Director’s review. Develop presentations for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly review meetings. Leverage digital tools and visualization platforms for high-impact presentations and dashboards. Analyze operational data to support quick and accurate decision-making. Coordinate and facilitate reviews for critical cross-functional projects. Draft and publish monthly newsletters and periodic technical magazines for internal stakeholders. 3. Operational & Performance Monitoring Continuously monitor and report production and productivity levels against the planned targets. Track and analyze the consumption of spares and services for each department to drive operational efficiency. 4. Project Oversight (Greenfield & Brownfield Projects)Closely monitor the progress of greenfield and brownfield projects against defined timelines. Support project heads in developing and refining presentations for corporate review. Provide timely updates and highlight challenges to the Executive Director. 5. Safety & Compliance Conduct regular shop floor visits to interact with teams and promote a Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) culture. Collaborate with the Head of Safety (HSE) to provide data-driven insights and updates on safety performance to the ED. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Operations Management. MBA or equivalent qualification (Preferred). Experience:5–8 years of experience in business operations, planning, reporting, or project management, preferably in manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools. Knowledge of business analytics and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with ERP systems and operational reporting. Behavioral & Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments. Commitment to promoting a safety-first culture. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Timeliness and accuracy of reports and presentations. Progress tracking of projects vs. planned timelines. Reduction in operational inefficiencies based on spare/service consumption tracking. Improvement in safety culture (e.g., BBS observations, reduction in incidents).
