Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: Noida, Lucknow Experience: 7 to 15 years Skill Set: ServiceNow Development, ITSM, Discovery, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, focusing on ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management. Customization & Configuration: Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, including Service Catalogs, Workflows, and Service Portal components. Scripting & Automation: Develop and implement scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes) to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. Integration: Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications and platforms using REST and SOAP APIs. Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs. Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and ensure the quality of code and configurations, adhering to best practices and standards. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers and team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: ServiceNow Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in ITSM modules. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow Glide APIs. Integration Experience: Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Process Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and processes. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications is preferred. Preferred Skills: Discovery & CMDB Experience: Exposure to Discovery configuration and implementation along with CMDB within ServiceNow. Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Service Portal Development: Experience in designing and developing ServiceNow Service Portals.
