About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web GIS Developer to join our in-house technology team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for professionals passionate about delivering impactful spatial solutions using ESRI and related technologies. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced web GIS applications to support complex spatial data workflows and enterprise needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement customized web GIS solutions tailored to business requirements.

Collaborate with analysts and architects to ensure alignment between technical solutions and functional expectations.

Prepare technical documentation such as Software Requirements Specifications, Technical Design Documents, Use Cases, UML Diagrams, and Test Cases.

Provide technical expertise on spatial/GIS issues across the organization.

Ensure infrastructure readiness in coordination with IT for solution deployment.

Develop geospatial solutions using the ESRI suite of products (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Mobile/Desktop, JavaScript API, Python for GIS, GeoPortal, etc.).

Utilize .NET or Java for backend integration and application logic.

Manage geospatial databases using SQL Server, Oracle, and ArcSDE.

Contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) following industry best practices (Agile/Scrum).

Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and leverage UML and other design techniques.

Work with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web-based technologies.

Adhere to GIS data standards, models, and quality control best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing ESRI-based GIS applications.

Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, .NET, or Java, along with spatial database handling.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and design patterns.

Hands-on experience with geospatial standards and data modeling.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

Self-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Willingness to relocate to UAE, Saudi Arabia, or India (Hyderabad) based on project or team requirements.
