Job Description

GIS Administrator

Responsibilities:

Design and implement GIS architecture within ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
Administer and manage ESRI software, including both ArcGIS Enterprise and Desktop platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain geodatabases with a focus on scalability and performance.
Apply software patches and updates to ESRI products to ensure system security and stability.
Lead upgrades of ESRI environments to the latest versions.
Optimize server environments for high performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve GIS server-related issues promptly.
Provide technical support and guidance on GIS-related challenges.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in a GIS-focused role.
Strong working knowledge of operating systems relevant to GIS deployments.
Proven experience in server performance tuning and system optimization.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in creating technical documentation and system reports.
