Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain observability and monitoring platforms to enhance MTTR/MTTX
• Create and optimize dashboards, alerts, and monitoring configurations using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and microservices for real-time and batch data processing
• Utilize GCP tools including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and others
• Develop end-to-end solutions using Spring Boot, Python, Angular, and REST APIs
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery
• Implement best practices in data governance, RBAC, encryption, and security within cloud environments
• Ensure automation and reliability through CI/CD, Terraform, and orchestration tools like Airflow and Tekton
• Drive full-cycle SDLC processes including design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with software architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams for solution delivery
  

Core Skills Required

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Angular, Java, and Python
• Experience in developing microservices and SOA-based systems
• Cloud-native development experience, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
• Working knowledge of data engineering technologies: PySpark, Airflow, Apache Beam, Kafka, and similar
• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, GitHub, and TDD methodologies
  

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Certifications (e.g., Data Engineer, Cloud Developer)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Cloud SQL, Data Governance tools, and security frameworks
• Exposure to performance tuning, cost optimization, and observability best practices
  

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack and cloud-based application development
• Strong track record in building distributed, scalable systems
• Prior experience with observability and performance monitoring tools is a plus
  

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory)
