About The Role We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s comfortable working across both NestJS (Node.js + TypeScript) and Laravel. If you enjoy building reliable APIs, solving integration challenges, and making messaging platforms tick, you’ll fit right in. In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to power complex communication workflows, support frontend reporting tools, and ensure data flows smoothly between multiple systems. What You’ll Be Doing Building and maintaining APIs using NestJS and Laravel Handling webhooks and ensuring they’re processed reliably Integrating with messaging platforms like Twilio, SendGrid, AWS SES, Facebook, Interakt, Gupshup, and others Managing background jobs and retries using Redis (or similar queue systems) Writing efficient MySQL queries and handling data logging Syncing services between Laravel and Node.js apps Collaborating with the frontend team to support a Vue.js 3-based reporting dashboardBuilding and consuming APIs that allow communication between different applications (like mobile apps and web apps). Asynchronous and parallel request handling – Writing code that can run multiple tasks at the same time, without slowing down the system. Multiple request management – Ensuring the server can handle many users at once efficiently. Webhooks – Setting up automated responses to events coming from external systems (e.g., payment success, user signup). In Terms Of Troubleshooting And Performance They must have strong error debugging skills – knowing how to track, identify, and fix problems quickly using logs and tools. Be able to implement load management – keeping the app stable during high traffic or spikes in usage. For Modern Infrastructure Experience with AWS Lambda – writing serverless functions that run code without managing servers, saving cost and improving scalability. Knowledge of queue management systems (like Redis queues, SQS, or BullMQ, etc...) – for handling background tasks (e.g., email sending, data processing) in an organized and efficient way.
