Role Overview:

Senior Product Manager

• E-Commerce

  – Own and optimize end-to-end product purchase journeys, and drive new product initiatives that support our growing publishing and merchandise business.

• Expansion Projects

  – Lead the seamless integration of acquired educator brands and platforms into PW’s core tech stack, ensuring alignment with our user experience and operational standards.

This role demands systems thinking, clear prioritization, and strong cross-functional leadership across tech, business, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

🛒 E-commerce (PW Store):

• Drive product strategy and execution across homepage, PLPs, PDPs, cart, checkout, and post-order experiences.
• Improve funnel metrics such as add-to-cart %, conversion rate, and repeat purchases.
• Build internal tools and dashboards to support catalog, inventory, logistics, and operations.
• Collaborate with supply chain, design, marketing, and category teams to ensure aligned product experiences and GTM rollouts.

🔗 Expansion Initiatives:

• Lead product and tech integration of acquired platforms or educator brands into PW’s ecosystem.
• Define and manage backend and frontend migration roadmaps (course infra, payments, CRM, user journeys).
• Ensure consistency of experience while preserving brand equity where needed.
• Collaborate with acquisition teams and founders to unlock PW-scale impact.

👥 Team & Cross-functional Leadership:

• Support and mentor junior product managers across both verticals.
• Work closely with engineering, design, business, and academic teams to ship high-quality, high-impact features.
• Push for product excellence through documentation, sprint planning, reviews, and performance tracking.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of total work experience

  , with

  3+ years in product management

  (e-commerce, B2C tech, or platform businesses preferred).
• Prior experience in

  e-commerce

  and/or

  edtech

  environments; familiarity with merchandising, logistics, and supply chain integrations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of user behavior in

  Tier 2/3 India

  and comfort designing for Bharat users.
• Excellent communication skills — capable of aligning diverse stakeholders across legacy teams, acquired brands, and central product pods.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and thrive in ambiguity.
• Strong analytical skills — experience working with GA4, SQL, dashboards, or experimentation tools.
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and other product management systems.
• Bonus: Prior startup, or founder experience.
