Role Overview

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

👥 Team Leadership & Strategy:

  • Manage and mentor a team of student engagement specialists and support executives.
  • Set team goals, track performance metrics, and ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
  • Provide guidance and regular training to ensure consistent performance and development.

⚙️ Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the student engagement function, ensuring SOPs are followed.
  • Drive process improvements and operational optimizations to improve student experience.
  • Ensure data hygiene, timely reporting, and quality control in student interactions and issue resolution.

📊 Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Review student feedback, escalation trends, and service bottlenecks to identify key challenges.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights for leadership.
  • Own dashboards, process health KPIs, and performance reviews of the team.

🔄 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with academic, tech, product, admissions, and counseling teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Act as a bridge between student insights and functional teams to influence product or service-level improvements.
  • Represent the voice of the operations team in cross-departmental initiatives and launches.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, preferably in EdTech, customer service, or student support.
  • Proven experience in team management and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-growth, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
  • A bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
