We are applying modern technology to transform the process by which office design is done from workplace strategy to programming to design and procurement. Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will be a key player in the development and scaling of our SaaS platform. As an Individual contributor, your responsibilities will include:

• Building and Platformizing: Work on the development and platformization of our SaaS product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Product-Oriented Development: Collaborate closely with product managers to shape and turn the product vision into reality. Your product mindset will drive engineering-led initiatives that align with business goals.
• Engineering Initiatives: Initiate and drive engineering projects that enhance the platform’s capabilities and performance. Be proactive in identifying opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements.
• Experience with Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture to ensure modularity and flexibility of the platform.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work cross-functionally with designers, architects, and other stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Documentation and Standards: Ensure thorough documentation of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Promote adherence to coding standards and code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Technical Expertise: Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, bringing new ideas to the team to keep our platform at the cutting edge.

You should have…

• An Engineering degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline
• 8+ years of experience as a full stack developer, preferably a SaaS platform
• At least 2+ years in a relevant position
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript
  
• React, NodeJS, Express experience required (NestJS and Material Tailwind is nice to have)
• Familiarity with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Incline toward Unit, API and E2E tests
• Experience working on complex larger codebases
  
• Experience optimizing queries, backend code
• Experience with cloud services is a plus (ideally AWS).
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD is a plus (ideally Docker, K8S, Jenkins)
• Strong learning agility and product focused mindset
• A sense of responsibility and ownership towards what you build
