Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Associate (BDA) with a proven track record in selling JEE and NEET courses. The ideal candidate will drive student enrollments, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to revenue growth by leveraging their expertise in the competitive exam coaching market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Sales

    : Identify and engage prospective students and parents through cold calls, emails, social media, and in-person events to promote JEE/NEET courses.
  • Client Relationship Management

    : Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions to ensure high enrollment and retention rates.
  • Sales Strategy Development

    : Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed enrollment targets, focusing on Tier 2/3 cities and online platforms.
  • Market Research

    : Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales pitches and position our JEE/NEET courses as the preferred choice.
  • Pitch Delivery

    : Deliver compelling and concise pitches tailored to the needs of JEE/NEET aspirants, highlighting the value of personalized coaching and AI-driven tools.
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with marketing, academic, and product teams to align sales efforts with course offerings and promotional campaigns.
  • Performance Tracking

    : Monitor and report on sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, revenue generated, and customer feedback, to optimize sales processes.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling

    : Promote additional services, such as mock tests, doubt resolution sessions, or premium packages, to maximize revenue per student.


Qualifications

  • Experience

    : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 2 years specifically in selling JEE/NEET coaching courses or similar EdTech products.
  • Educational Background

    : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A background in education or familiarity with JEE/NEET syllabi is a plus.
  • Sales Expertise

    : Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in the EdTech or competitive exam coaching industry.
  • Communication Skills

    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging pitches and handle objections effectively.
  • Market Knowledge

    : Strong understanding of the JEE/NEET coaching market, including exam patterns, student challenges, and parental expectations.
  • Technical Proficiency

    : Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and online platforms for lead generation and tracking.
  • Adaptability

    : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market dynamics and customer preferences.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in selling one-on-one live online coaching or hybrid learning models.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven educational tools and their benefits in JEE/NEET preparation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value deals with parents and institutions.
  • Existing network within the education sector, particularly in Tier 2/3 cities in India.
