Senior Automation Engineer

We, at Warade PackTech, design, install and service packaging automation machinery to help manufacturers with their end-to-end packaging needs. We have indigenously developed products like checkweigher, case erector, case packer, palletizer, secondary bagger, VMC, conveying systems and more installed globally. We cater to a wide range of companies across industries including but not limited to FMCG, Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care, Confectionary, etc. Based out of Pune, India, we are an established leading manufacturer and supplier of packaging automation machinery. The job role requires you to automate production processes and equipment; provide control and vision systems engineering support to production operations for the troubleshooting and/or repair of existing systems as well as implement production efficiency improvements. At Warade Packtech Pvt Ltd your detail oriented and hands on attitude would be integral in the successful operations of systems and processes.

Essential Responsibilities: 1. Develop the Logic and Design electrical panel design, testing and commissioning for machine guidelines based on given customer requirements and specifications and mechanical designs.

2. I/O selection, I/O list preparation and testing of machines.

3. Troubleshoot and eliminate control systems issues and handle controls projects

4. Engage in project planning and execution, and selection of appropriate material items as per design.

5. Ensure design intent in presales activity and feasibility study at site

6. Conduct prestart up equipment walks to validate installation

7. Travel to customer sites for design reviews, research, installation, and troubleshooting

8. Extend start up support and training for control and monitoring systems

9. Offer control engineering support to plant operations

10. Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for newly established automated equipment/processes

11. Establish systems and services through teamwork

General:

1. Comply with the company safety procedures.

2. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites and be open to possible relocation if required

3. Involved in leading projects and provide timely and detailed status updates

4. Must be available and willing to work weekends, and holidays as per customer project commitments

Experience/ Education Qualifications:

1. Minimum 4-8 years of experience in the automation industry and packaging machine manufacturing industry

2. BE electrical/ BE electronics

3. Experience in Programming Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Servomotors, Networks and System engineering, Commissioning and Installation

4. Experience and skill in troubleshooting control systems issues

5. Basic knowledge of EPLAN
