Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Radio Server Lead to manage and lead the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of radio server infrastructure supporting wireless network communications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in radio network architecture, hands-on experience with server and network components, and the ability to lead a high-performing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end management of radio server infrastructure including architecture design, deployment, and maintenance.
Work closely with RAN (Radio Access Network) teams to ensure seamless integration between radio servers and network nodes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support 4G/5G/LTE deployments and ensure optimal performance.Plan and implement software upgrades, patching, and server configuration changes with minimal downtime.Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, availability, and network latency issues.Ensure compliance with telecom standards and security policies across all server systems.Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and coordinate third-party support for hardware/software components.Lead a team of server/network engineers and provide guidance on architecture, automation, and issue resolution.Prepare documentation, reports, and dashboards on network/server performance and reliability.Support audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a lead or architect role focused on radio servers.Deep understanding of RAN, LTE, 5G, and related network protocols.Experience with server operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows), virtualization platforms, and containerization (e.g., VMware, KVM, Docker).Familiarity with radio access protocols (S1, X2, CPRI, eCPRI) and mobile core integrations.Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS systems, orchestration tools, and network monitoring tools.Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, or similar relevant to telecom and server administration.
