Job Title: Oracle EBS Finance Functional & Technical Consultants Location: Chennai, India Job Type: Full-time Experience: 8+ Years About the Role: Excelencia is seeking experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultants to join our ERP team in Chennai. We are hiring for both Functional and Technical roles. The ideal candidates will bring strong domain knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, with a proven track record in implementation, support, and customization projects. Key Responsibilities For Functional Consultants: Gather and analyze business requirements across Oracle Financial modules, including Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Subledger Accounting, and e-Business Tax. Configure and customize Oracle EBS Finance modules to align with business needs. Perform gap analysis and propose solutions based on Oracle best practices. Develop functional specifications for RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions). Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and support. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare documentation, and deliver end-user training. Coordinate with Oracle Support to resolve product-related issues. For Technical Consultants: Design, develop, and maintain custom components and extensions using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports (RDF/XML), OAF, and Workflow Builder. Support integrations and data conversions across Oracle Financial modules. Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Work on performance tuning, data migration, and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with development standards and project timelines. Participate in implementation, upgrade, and support activities. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Financials. Strong understanding of core Oracle Finance modules such as AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, SLA, and EBTax. Proven experience in full life cycle Oracle EBS implementations and/or upgrade projects. Sound knowledge of financial accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Experience in writing functional/technical design documents and test cases. For Technical roles: Proficiency in Oracle development tools including PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, and OAF is added advantage. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials) is an added advantage. Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery tools. Prior experience working with global clients or in an onshore-offshore model.
