Node.js Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience in building scalable APIs, and a good understanding of modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs using NestJs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Debug and resolve production issues as required.
• Write unit tests and integrate testing frameworks for robust deliverables.
• Collaborate with DevOps for deployments and CI/CD pipeline enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in backend development using NestJs.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with NestJs, Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth), and API security best practices.
• Good understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Experience with integrating third-party APIs and libraries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
