Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of front-end customization, plugin management, and PHP development. The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering highly customized WordPress solutions as per business requirements while ensuring performance, responsiveness, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites as per design and functionality requirements.
• Customize themes and templates to align with UI/UX expectations and branding guidelines.
• Manage, integrate, and configure various WordPress plugins to enhance site functionality.
• Build custom plugins or extend existing plugins as needed.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code for backend development and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues including performance, bugs, or plugin conflicts.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement features seamlessly.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and security practices in WordPress and PHP development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  3 years of hands-on experience

  in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in

  customizing WordPress themes and front-end components (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery)

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  WordPress plugins

  – usage, integration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of

  PHP

  and its application in WordPress development.
• Experience with

  custom post types, taxonomies, hooks, and filters

  .
• Familiarity with

  page builders

  (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) and Gutenberg editor.
• Good understanding of

  website performance optimization

  techniques.
• Knowledge of

  WordPress security best practices

  .
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver projects on time.

Preferred Skills (Good to have)

• Experience with

  WooCommerce

  customization.
• Familiarity with

  REST APIs and third-party integrations

  .
• Knowledge of

  version control systems (Git)

  .
• Basic understanding of

  SEO fundamentals

  for WordPress.
• Experience with

  multi-language (WPML, Polylang)

  implementations.
