Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Developer with over 8 years of professional experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable web applications and services, possessing deep knowledge in Node.js frameworks, and demonstrating a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Node.js applications and APIs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks to ensure we remain competitive.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of proven experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with TypeScript.

- Extensive experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express, Koa, or Hapi.

- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Proficient in using version control systems, particularly Git.

- Experience with RESTful API development and third-party APIs integration.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
