Role Summary At ClassicCart Pvt Ltd, we are building a scalable and secure multivendor eCommerce platform to empower sellers and buyers with high-performance digital experiences. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer with 3+ years of practical backend development experience. The ideal candidate must have worked on core production projects and not just small modules or component-based tasks. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable APIs and backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and integrating with AWS infrastructure. Success in this role means writing clean, efficient code, solving real-world backend challenges, and working collaboratively to deliver business-critical features. Important Note Only candidates with actual hands-on experience in full projects will be considered. Previous experience must be on real, production-level projects. Component-based is not sufficient. Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js Design and document RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services Model and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring performance and reliability Handle complex asynchronous logic and event-driven architecture Secure applications with JWT, OAuth, and role-based access Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SES, etc.) for deployment and integration Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimizations Write automated tests and participate in code reviews Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams for CI/CD pipelines and issue resolution Actively contribute to architecture discussions and agile planning Qualifications UG: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any computer-related engineering discipline. PG: M.E. / M.Tech / MCA or other postgraduate programs in computer-related fields are preferred but not mandatory. Skills Strong proficiency in: Node.js, Express.js MongoDB and Mongoose RESTful API design and data modeling JWT/OAuth-based authentication Git & GitHub workflows AWS Skills: EC2 instance setup and deployment S3 bucket integration SES for emails CloudWatch or Lambda (preferred) Familiarity with: Docker, CI/CD pipelines Redis or caching tools Testing tools: Jest, Mocha, Supertest Microservices architecture and message queues (optional) Soft Skills: Solid communication and documentation ability Proactive problem-solver and team player Ability to deliver in a fast-paced agile environment
