Mobile Application Developer

Job Summary:

HealthSy is a fast-growing D2C HealthTech platform offering ordering medicines, doctor consultations, In-clinic Appointment, and Home Healthcare Booking through a mobile app. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Developer who’s excited to build products from the ground up and grow alongside a fast-moving tech team. In this role, you’ll work across mobile (Android/iOS), Admin Panel, and backend development - contributing to everything from UI to APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern development tools, a passion for building scalable apps, and the curiosity to learn fast, solve real-world problems, and deliver impactful features from an early stage in their role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mobile App Development (Android & iOS)

• Build and maintain cross-platform or native mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, or platform-specific languages.
• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and user experience across devices.

2. Admin Panel & Internal Tools

• Develop responsive admin panels or dashboards using frameworks like React, Angular.
• Ensure seamless functionality between web and mobile environments.

3. Backend & API Development

• Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Firebase, or similar.
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage real-time data sync between mobile and backend.

4. Database Management

• Work with databases like MongoDB, Firestore, or MySQL to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
• Structure schemas and indexes for performance and scalability.

5. Security & Authentication

• Implement security best practices including JWT, encrypted storage, and role-based access control.
• Handle authentication flows for both admin and end-users.

6. Code Quality & Version Control

• Write modular, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Use Git for version control and maintain clean commit history.

7. Debugging, Testing & Performance Optimization

• Identify bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues; proactively troubleshoot and resolve them.
• Write basic test cases and handle device-specific bugs or edge cases.

8. Deployment & CI/CD

• Have familiarity with Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store guidelines.
• Assist with deployment of apps on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and backend services on Docker, Firebase, or AWS.
• Work with basic CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.

Requirements & Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 months of live project experience in mobile app development (React Native, Objective-C).
• Working knowledge of Node.js, Firebase.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, Firestore, or SQL-based databases.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and memory management.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and basic cloud deployments (Firebase Hosting).
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Basic understanding of platform-specific guidelines (Material Design, iOS HIG).
